Some time back I wanted to extract info from a page that was taken off the face of the web. I had to make do with the limited information that google's cached pages had. Rileen is on a survey spree. What I see is that livejournal folks have a backup plan in blogger, well most of them. Well with the google takeover, blogger sure appears to be a fallback for all those who have already created.

Yahoo News says Microsoft chief architecht Bill Gates touts blogging as a business tool. It appears everyone at Microsoft is a blogger now.
